SLEEPING BAG:

Should be compact, -5º C or better. Size rolled should not exceed 25cm x 56cm (12"x24").
We also offer sleeping bag rental at a cost of $30.00 each, if your sleeping bag does not meet the criteria.

HIKING BOOTS:

Hiking Boots Are ESSENTIAL!. A well worn pair are best. Running shoes are acceptable as an evening alternative only.

For 5 & 7 day trips, water crossings require an aqua shoe or sandal for maximum safety and comfort. A second pair of shoes and/or sport sandals is also recommended.

CLOTHING:

The "Layered Approach" is best. It will allow you to comfortably adjust according to activity and climatic demands. Possible hot sunny days, or rain and cool to cold evenings can be expected.
